Gedevan Popkhadze, a member of the parliamentary majority, leaves the parliamentary majority. Popkhadze explains the reasons and says that his position gets far more distant from the position of other members of the ruling team.

According to him, even if he refuses to take this decision, he will still be forced to leave the party.

" Our values differ from each other- this is reality and we see it at the sittings of the majority as well,"- Popkhadze says.

Popkhadze made this announcement after the political council of Georgian Dream disseminated the statement as a result of a two-hour meeting.

The statement says that the attack of the political groups, United National Movement and NGOs have nothing to do with the improvement of the judiciary system and on the contrary, it is an attack on the judiciary.
The statement also says that the attack on the court system is aimed only at the punishment of those judges, who were able to get rid of the influence of the previous government.
