The judge of Gurjaani District Court has decided to leave Davit Kirkitadze in custody. He has not taken into account  the motion of the defense.

The lawyers demanded the release of an opposition member from prison.

Kirkitadze, who is detained due to the incident on the inauguration day in Velistsikhe, pleads not guilty.
Opposition representatives say that the case is political.
