The Palace of President in Avlabari is renamed and it will be used for high-ranking receptions. The cultural center will be placed in the administrative part of the palace.

The president"s spokesperson, Khatia Moisprarishvili made a statement and underlined that the concept of the President"s administrative building is being discussed.

"The former residence of Avlabari has a new function and therefore a new name. From now on, the palace is called "Palace of State Ceremonies" and it will host all high-profile visits or meetings . It was agreed between the President of Georgia, the Chairman of parliament and the Chairman of the Government of Georgia, and I know that the relevant Commission is working on the concrete concept in the Parliament of Georgia,"- said Khatia Moistsraphishvili.
