Parliament will listen to Public Defender and the Minister of Justice

The Parliament of Georgia will listen to the Public Defender and the Minister of Justice.

Nino Lomjaria and Tsulukiani will discuss the situation in the penitentiary institutions at the sitting.

Ombudsman’s special team completed monitoring penitentiary establishments N2, N8, N14, and N15. The MPs will hear the Ombudsman"s report on this issue today.

The Minister of Justice will also attend the session and will comment on the issues in the report.

The hearing will take place during the Human Rights Committee.
