If it wasn’t for the Georgian Dream, Bidzina Ivanishvili and the democratic reforms carried out under her leadership, Georgia would still have been in the nightmare it was in during your government - Talakvadze

You sacrificed the citizens and if it wasn’t for the Georgian Dream, Bidzina Ivanishvili and the democratic reforms carried out under her leadership, Georgia would still have been in the nightmare it was in during your government. Such a statement made today Archil Talakvadze, the Vice-Speaker of the Parliament.

“I congratulate Georgia, I congratulate our society, compatriots on this historic victory. Thanks to the Georgian national team for a great game. Georgia is in shape and Georgia is in shape not only in football, but in many other directions, which is the merit of the fact that the country has progress and our society sees this progress and our partners see it too.

Of course, there are business and rhetorical answers to all the questions raised here. However, this is the opposition that does not stay in the hall during any political debate and cannot hear the answers. They complain in vain and worry that they did not hear answers about something.

I want you to hear these answers again, which have been said many times in this hall. First of all, the base of socially vulnerable people has increased because under our government, we changed the rule that if a socially vulnerable citizen looks for a job, he will not be denied social assistance.

Only with the free trade agreement, which was signed under the government of Georgian Dream with the European Union, last year Georgia received EUR 700 million as a result of exports.

Our citizens, farmers exported their products to the European market. This is also the income of each family and was directed directly to households. Today you spoke as if we sacrificed citizens. I will tell you how you actually sacrificed citizens.

You sacrificed the citizens and if it wasn’t for the Georgian Dream, Bidzina Ivanishvili and the democratic reforms carried out under her leadership, Georgia would still have been in the nightmare it was in during your government”, - said Archil Talakvadze.
