The employees of Guria Police Department, Ozurgeti, Lanchkhuti and Chokhatauri regional police divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of jointly conducted operative-search measures and investigative activities, detained previously convicted and currently on probation 2 persons for theft - M.M. (DoB 1988) and Z.M. (DoB 2000).

The committed crime envisions from 4 to 7 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that the defendants, at different times, illegally trespassed into 10 residential houses, from which they unlawfully took possession of household items and other belongings.

As a result of the conducted investigative actions and operational measures, police detained M.M. And Z.M.

The law enforcement officers seized the stolen items as evidence.

The investigation is being conducted under Article 177, Part III, Sub-paragraph “a”, “b” and “c” of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which refers to the theft committed by the group, with prior agreement, by illegally entering residential places more than once.
