A Regulation for visa-free travel of Georgian citizens to the Schengen zone was signed in Brussels.

Georgia"s Prime Minister is in Brussels as well. Giorgi Kvirikashvili will hold a meeting with the Chairman of the European Parliament.

The final regulation change that introduces visa-free travel for Georgian citizens to EU countries was approved by the EU Council on February 27. the Revised regulation will be published in the Official Journal in few days. After 20 days citizens of Georgia will be able to travel visa-free to the Schengen member states.
