Non-parliamentary opposition speaks about the shortening of the President’s authority. According to them, the constitution should be amended in accordance with the public consensus because such confrontations damage the country"s international image.

" Tone was obviously threatening. This type of communication between the highest-ranking authorities, is not good, "- said Mamuka Katsitadze , a Chairman of the New Rights.

Giorgi Gugava, a leader of Labor party has also commented on the issue.

" This controversy reminds me of children , who are playing in the sand and quarrel about the toy. It means that the country has no government,"- said Giorgi Gugava.
