Decision of European Court- Opposition thinks that government is panicked

Opposition parties believe that Georgian Government"s attempts to influence the European Court in regard to Rustavi2"s case will be futile. The opposition believes that the government is panicked.

 

"Government officials continue to prove that nothing special is happening and the private dispute continues,- said Irakli Abesadze, a member of European Georgia.
United National movement believes that fight against Rustavi2 is action against the state interests.

" Attack on Rustavi2" s freedom of expression is a fight against the interests of the state. It was very important that Europe has once again stated its position that Bidzina Ivanishvili can not touch human rights, the country"s interests, the interests of the citizens ,"- Akaki Minashvili stated.
