We have political justice in regard to Rustavi2 - Civil Sector


Georgian experts and non-governmental organizations comment on the announcement, made by Human Rights Watch in regard to Rustavi2"s case.


International relations and international law experts say that the criticism from international Organizations increases daily.

According to the, the process is irreversible and international organizations openly point to the violations and questions that arose in regard to proceedings against the Rustavi 2.

"Obviously, there are many questions about the government"s interference and i believe that the European Court has to take it into the consideration. The government";s announcements, that they are not involved in the process, already are not serious. They should think twice that their actions are not hidden and actually the whole world speaks about problems they face,"- said Eka Gigauri.


Paata Gaphrindashvili, a Director of Georgian Reforms Association focuses on the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly"s Special address , which states that government-related entities should not interfere in media affairs.

"This is a reflection of the growing international criticism ,"- he stated.
