Oral hearing of Vano Merabishvili"s case at the Strasbourg Court

An oral hearing of the Vano Merabishvili"s case is starting at the European Court of Human Rights.
According to Vano Merabishvili"s lawyer, the court should determine whether the European Convention of Human Rights was violated.

The case concerns alleged withdrawal of Vano Merabishvili from the prison.
The 17-judge Grand Chamber of the Court will discuss the case. The hearing of the case will end today, but remains unknown when the decision will be announced.
