Cyanide case - Prosecution reveals evidences

The Prosecutors" Office reveals evidences on the so-called Cyanide Case. The details has been discussed at the briefing.

" More than 30 witnesses have been questioned,ninety investigative actions have been conducted in total , including inspection and removal of mobile phones, computers and other carriers of the electronic information . Relevant examinations have been appointed, on some of them we already have reports, which enable us to talk about the interim results of investigation and release part of the evidence on the case,"- said Jarji Tsiklauri, the Prosecutor.

" The investigation showed that Giorgi Mamaladze was asking Irakli Mamaladze to find poison- Cyanide in short terms and was ready to pay for that. He was also offering benefits in future for assistance. The accused was planning to travel to Germany, where was the Patriarch with his accompanying persons, including Shorena Tetruashvili. Therefore ge was trying to buy cyanide urgently, before going to Germany,"- Jarji Tsiklauri said.

According to the information, revealed by the Prosecutors" Office, Deacon Giorgi Mamaladze is charged of preparation of Shorena Tetruashvili"s murder, as well as illegal purchase and possession of firearms.
