The Patriarchate`s  lawyer spoke about the evidence disclosed by the Prosecutor`s office of Georgia. Edisher Karchava does not exclude that the materials presented at the briefing could be sufficient for proving the guilt ofthe detained Faher GIorgi Mamaladze.

He said Shorena Tetruashvili had been questioned twice already and she categorically denied asking Faher GIorgi Mamaladze to purchase the cyanide.

According to Karchava, there is no basis to discredit the presented material.

‘The Patriarchate of Georgia is following the developments and will wait for the evidence evaluation – whether it is authentic,’ - Edisher Karchava has said.

According to him the Patriarchate will release a statement later on the official website
