Father Petre has left the Synod sitting. The Metropolitan of Chkondidi left the building alone and commented on the issues and decisions, taken by the high priests.

Father Petre was the first cleric , who left the synod sitting. According to the decision, made by hierarchs , he was deprived of the right to manage the Patriarchate"s television. He linked the decision to the recent developments.
" I was dismissed from the position of the Television"s director. I always say that I would better be punished for truth, than justified for lies,"- he said in an interview with journalists.

Reportedly the Holy Synod discussed the issue of father Giorgi Mamaladze today. Supposedly he will no longer have a right to be a priest.
