Tariff of natural gas may increase - Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission to discuss the issue till July 24

Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission will discuss tariff of natural gas till July 24. Gas provider company - KazTransGaz and gas transportation company have appealed with the demand to recalculate the tariff to the regulator. Socar appealed with the similar statement a few weeks ago as well.

According to reports, the companies are asking to review the tariff due to fall of the exchange rate. The Ministry of Energy claims that they don"t have an exact answer till now.

A Deputy Minister of Energy says that he does not know, exactly which components will be reviewed. Mariam Valishvili says that the Ministry will work together with the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission.
