After a 12-hour confrontation between the police and demonstrators, the city is being cleaned up at this moment,

The Interior Minister has recently made a statement regarding the incident. According to him,a total of 40 people have been detained.

We remind you that the protest action began with a fact of fining of civilians, but Giorgi Mgebrishvili did not rule out that the main reason for the yesterday`s rally was not the fining of citizens and their detention and the matter needed to be investigated substantially.

The minister said that the police officers would act adequately and at this stage he called on the population to refrain from aggression.

"I advise everyone to stay at home," - says George Mgebrishvili.
