The representatives of the Public Defender have visited the people detained during Batumi events. The Ombudsman"s Office will thoroughly examine the events , and then publish the assessment.

The Public Defender`s representative said that the processes in Batumi went beyond the right for freedom of assembly and expression, so they call on the government for quick and transparent investigation.
