Deputy Prime Minister Kakha Kaladze made a statement regarding the developments in Batumi. Kaladze says that every person who has committed a crime, will be held accountable to the full extent before the law .

He said that several people have been detained whose identity is being definned.

Kaladze once again underlined the fact that the unrest in Batumi was in the interests of a specific political group.

"It was vandalism and, unfortunately, for the whole evening we were listening to a particular political party expressing solidarity and support to the vandalism. The investigation is underway, identification is in progress, several persons have been arrested. I want to tell you that all the criminals who have committed crimes will be held accountable to the full extent of the law, "- said Kaladze.
