The ruling team responded to the interview given by Alexander Jejelava to " Kviris palitra" in which he said that " no matter how painful it may be, the Supreme Court`s decision will enter into force." However, he added that before the final decision of the Strasbourg Court, the authorities were not planning the execution of teh Supreme Court decision.

The Chairperson of the Parliament`s Legal Affairs Committee, Eka Beselia, said that the Strasbourg Court coud not change the Supreme Court"`s decision in connection with Rustavi 2.

"The Strasbourg court only examines the appeal for compliance with the articles of the convention, but it can not change the decisions taken at the national level," - Beselia said.
