" I fear that church cases may lead to unrest ," - Archbishop Petre sends letter to Synod

Father Petre appeals to the Patriarch , chairman of the Holy Synod, the chief priests, Synod members, Secretary of Synod and Metropolitan Shio with a letter. The letter has been published by Hegumen Tamar Gamkrelidze. Father Petre states that the Synod was prejudiced by Law.

" I know the cross of the synod session, held on March 9 was hard. The sitting appeared prejudiced by law, for the numerous parish of church and religious community. It was incredible and unexpected that the Synod sitting would focus only on announcing such harsh and unfair judgment for me, which was read by the Secretary, but not written by him.
Don"t we have facts of discrediting of the church and you heard nothing from me at the sitting of Synod? Or does not mean unsubstantiated slander charges against me discrediting for the church?
It is impossible that the Synod , which has gathered after the scandalous Cyanide Case was not significantly interested in this ordeal or its causes,"- is written in the letter.
" we have confined to the sentences, which seems to be dictated and expressed confidence to investigation, with what I, as a member of synod, don"t agree with you,"- states Fater Petre in the letter.
