Georgian MPs comment Vladimir Putin"s order to seal an agreement which will, in effect, incorporate the armed forces of Georgia"s breakaway South Ossetia region into the Russian military"s command structure. According to them, this is a new provocation from Russian side.

The parliamentary majority says that official Tbilisi does not have other leverages than diplomatic way to achieve peace in the region.

" International law does not apply to these areas. Any activities that are carried out in these areas, is directed against the strength and unity of our country," - said Koba Kobamadze, a deputy chairman of the Defense and Security Committee.

The opposition accuses the government saying that they don"t work properly in the international arena.

" International pressure is suspended in this direction, because our government is completely incapable and issue of Georgia has completely disappeared,"- said Sergo Ratiani, member of Europoean Georgia.
