Representatives of civil society respond on statement Eva Gotsiridze, a Justice Supreme Council Member .

Ucha Nanuashvili, the Ombudsman has also commented on the issue.

"We are pleased that Eva Gorsirize failed to be a judge from Georgia due to this violated procedures and campaign,"- said Ucha Nanuashvili.

Representatives of NGOs ay that Georgian government should not teach the European Court how to make decisions.

" I do not think that Georgian ministers and representatives of the court should teach the European Court of Human Rights which right should be given preference in a particular case,"- said Giorgi Beraia, analyst from Transparency International - Georgia .
