Arrests in Batumi continue. Today, six persons, who are accused of organizing the unrest and attacking police, have been arrested. Law enforcers are still continuing to identify specific individuals and finding new evidence.

Public Defender representative has visited the detainees kept in the custody. According to her, one of them is minor.

Political opponents fails to agree on the reasons of confrontation in Batumi. Georgian Dream lawmakers recalled the chronology of the noisy night at their meeting and named the argument, according to which the organizers of the riot was the National Movement.

According to the opposition, the riot began not only because of one episode of arrogant the attitude of the police and dissatisfaction with police chief of the region but the problem is more acute.

Chairman of the Adjara Supreme Council confirmed at today`s meeting confirmed that he was aware of dissatisfaction with the police chief and he had planned to meet with him on this issue.
