An airstrike hit a mosque in a town Al-Jina, Syria.The province is controlled by rebels. 42 citizens have died as a result of the attack.

According to witnesses most of victims are civilians. More than 100 have been injured.

The jets struck as the mosque was full of worshipers at evening prayer.

There were reports the US had carried out the airstrike, which hit the mosque but there was no confirmation from either the Pentagon or Centcom.
