A State Constitutional Commission discusses formation of the European Court"s analogue. The issue is proposed by non-parliamentary parties and constitutionalists and envisages adding another board to the Constitutional Court.
As a result, it will be possible to appeal not only against legislative acts at the Constitutional Court.

Authors of initiative believe that it will reduce appeals from Georgia to the European Court.

Eka Beselia, a Chairman of parliament"s Legal Affairs Committee states that the initiative needs a very deep systemic analysis.

" This is a very difficult and complex issue. We have discussed it at the parliament when we received a proposal from the Ombudsmen. However this is not a simple issue, because it requires very deep, systemic analysis,- said Eka Beselia.
