Street traders have been removed from the area around the Marjanishvili metro; their stalls are being distributed to different markets. They have been offered various shopping areas of the capital city.

Traders say they do not have the money to rent counters on the market territory.

The Supervision Department officers do not allow street traders to trade without permit. The traders say they had not been warned about the abovementioned in advance. According to them, they are in extremely difficult social conditions and have nowhere to go.

The traders are planning to hold a demonstration in front of the City Hall today. They may be joined by the victims of the fire that broke out in the center "Children"s World".
