Parliament starts to discuss President"s motivated remarks about draft on wiretapping

A parliament has started to discuss President"s motivated remarks about the so-called draft on wiretapping. Ana Dolidze, the President"s parliamentary secretary has presented the notes. Prior to that members of parliamentary majority and minority made statements in regard to President"s veto.

" Instead of taking care of our citizens" interests, you defend Bidzina Ivanishvili"s interests blindly and today you legalize the possibility for him, to listen to any of us or any of you without any motivation. Illegal surveillance and eavesdropping is a normal weapon for him in a political struggle. When he does not like any of the judges , he starts illegal eavesdropping, wiretapping and later this judge with this recordings. When he does not like Rustavi2"s editorial policy he watches its managers and makes illegal wiretaps to blackmail people with that,"- said Tinatin Bokuchava, member of UNM.
Sopho Kiladze, a member of the parliamentary minority has also commented on the remarks , sent by the president and stated that there are not legal arguments , but "political coquetry".
