There is an attempt to present the President`s veto as a political confrontation , but, he says, he will always perform his duty.

The Parliament has overturned presidential veto on the so-called surveillance law and did not share the motivated remarks. Georgian Dream with 93 votes supported the law`s original version, which envisages setting up the agency, which will carry out secret surveillance and will be subject to the state security service.

"There is an attempt to present this veto as a political controversy, but I will not get tired of fulfilling my duties. For certain members of the Georgian Dream it is convenient in order to overshadow the problems with the economy and employment. These insulting epithets are used in order to somehow get me involved in the show, where we embarass each other and by doing that we distract attention from the main problems, but I will not participate in this , "- Margvelashvili said.
