Non-governmental organizations and media analysts respond to a counteroffer of Rustavi2"s staff .

Lasha Tughushi, a Head of Foundation European Initiative - Liberal Academy states that handing the controlling interest to Rustavi2"s employees to rustavi2"s staff will increase the broadcasting company"s trust and independence.

" Of the shares, the controlling interest will be handed to the staff, it will increase independence, more freedom. Its reputation and impact will be undoubted. There have been lot of discussions, that there are some influences and someone runs the company, but in this case it will belong to you and these questions will be removed,"- Lasha Tugushi said.

An Executive director of Civil Development Agency speaks about importance of this offer as well.
" It is very good that there is such process between owners and staff. However it is necessary to take some steps and this conversation should not stop at this point,"- said Zviad Devdariani.
