Starting from March 28 Georgian citizens will be able to travel visa free to Europe.The preparations for this date are underway in the airports in Tbilisi and Kutaisi.

Starting from tonight, the citizens of Georgia will be able to travel visa-free to the 22 EU member states, and four non-Schengen states and four candidate countries .

All citizens having biometric passports, including residents of the occupied territories, will enjoy visa-free travel with a maximum of 90 days stay in 180 days,

The ministers of Foreign Relations and European Integration once again explained visa-free travel details to reporters .

"We have achieved visa liberalization, and the result is a new benefit for all of our citizens, generating new opportunities for students, artists, businessmen, and most importantly, it is the largest political result. This option is valid for 90 days out of 180 days,these 90 days can be used fully at once or during 180 days in any period of time. The main thing is that the deadline is not be breached, "- said Mikhail Janelidze.
