One day before the visa-free travel - Political assessments of historic day

Starting from March 28 Georgian citizens will be able to travel visa-free to Europe. Every citizen , including inhabitants of the occupied territories will be able to travel visa-free.

A Minister for European Integration states that if those people, who live in the occupied areas will have Georgian biometric passport, they will be able to travel to Europe without a visa.

A Prime Minister and members of parliament together with students will be the first who will cross the EU border visa-free.

" I am going tomorrow and I am glad that I will be able to visit Athens together with the successful students, hold there formal meetings,. Afterward we will go to Brussels and have there high-level meetings," -said Victor Dolidze.
Members of parliamentary majority also made announcements about the visa liberalization.
" Europe has fully accepted Georgia, with it"s traditions, history, present and future,"- states Archil Talakvadze.

The opposition members claim that this is the step forward in regard to the country"s development.
