Civil sector and media organizations appeal to the Prime minister and Chairman of Parliament with an open letter. Authors call on the government to formulate a clear position and not make such decision, which will suspend development.
They speak about deprivation of status from seven self-governing cities.
120 organizations sign under the letter.

According to representatives of non-governmental sector, this will suspend democratic development of the country.

" If terminate direct elections at the local level, we will have only elected City Council, which is a representative body, while the executive body will be appointed .
