Shota Pakeliani`s family members. aaccused Police of drug plaanting and severe beating. The court has already sentenced him to a 50-day pre-trial detention which will be appealed by his lawyer today.

The lawyer claimes that after the arrest, the young man was physically abused in the Isani-Samgori police division N 7 and as a result he was unconscious for four days.

The lawyer considers groundless the charges against Shota Pakeliani. According to him, the police abused their power, and he is asking for holding them resposible.

Investigation is carried out into purchase and storage of a new psychotropic substance . Interior Ministry categorically denies the physical assault.
