Iran"s Foreign Minister has opened Georgian-Iranian business forum. Iranian businessmen got acquainted with the investment environment. The meeting focused on cooperation in fields of agriculture, infrastructure and industrial sector. A possibility of using the free trade regime has been discussed as well.

Prior to the opening of the business forum, the Iranian Foreign Minister and the Minister of Economy of Georgia held a face to face meeting.

"Iran is between the states, which have the most serious economic potential in our region. Fortunately, international relations in the regions are more or less arranged, and we hope that we will be able to receive additional investments from Iran, "- said Giorgi Gakharia.
