The City Hall"s Audit Office has responded to opposition"s request in connection with Nazamaidze"s case two months later. A member of the City Council has publicized a letter sent by the audit today.

Opposition parties say they have not received adequate responses, as the case is not mentioned in the letter at all.

"The answer is that the mayor has a political decision and all the questions have been given in their statements on TV. We understand only one thing - that the process was held legally. We wanted answers on details, but they refused to come. Now they want to justify it and involved the Audit office in this process,"- said Sevdia Ugrekhelidze, member of United National movement.
