The damage inflicted by the natural disaster in Gurjaani district is being counted. The strong wind damaged St. George"s church in the village of Vejini as it was hit by a a toppled hundred-year-old fur tree. The tree damaged a nearby shop as well.

In the village of Akhasheni, the roof of Dzuliashvili`s house was ripped off. The tin sheets dropped a few tens of meters away. Electricity lines are also damaged.

No one was injured as a result of the disaster. The local government is meeting with the victims.
