"Inter RAO" case may avoid International Arbitration Court - Kakha Kaladze

The Energy Minister responded to the dispute of the Energy Company Inter RAO with the Government of Georgia.

According to Kakhi Kaladze, negotiations are going on and the case may be solved without arbitration court.

Inter Rao demands reimbursement of damages caused by impairment of the national currency which is about ten million.

The dispute in the international arbitration court against the Georgian authorities may begin in the nearest future.

"A few days ago we received a notice about arbitration, so we will do our best to prepare and submit relevant documents. This is a very long process. we may avoid the court through negotiations, "- said the Energy Minister.

Kakha Kaladze talked about claims of KazTransGaz.

According to the Minister of Energy, KazTransGaz`s decision to sue Georgia in the International Arbitration Court is suprizing.

According to Kakha Kaladze, the demanded was to return Kazakh management , which was not managed.

"Our demand for KazTransGaz was to return the Kazakh management, but unfortunately it did not happen, I will refrain from commenting on other additional issues, because my comments can then be used in the arbitration on this particular case," said Kakhi Kaladze.
