At this moment, the meeting on the case of Azerbaijani journalist Afgan Mukhtarli is being held at the MIA.

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Shalva Khutsishvili and Deputy Heads of State Security Service - Ioseb Gogashvili and Aleksandre Tabatadze informed the representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Georgia about the investigation and the existing factual circumstances.

The meeting is attended by the US Ambassador to Georgia Jan Kelly, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, Ambassador of Sweden to Georgia, , Attache of the Republic of Italy Massimo Moson, Ambassadors of Lithuania, Hungary, Greece, France, Bulgaria, Estonia, Great Britain, Netherlands, Slovakia and other embassies as well as representatives of the international organizations.
