Former head of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia Giorgi Badashvili has been appointed Deputy Prosecutor General.

According to Otar Kakhidze, chairman of the European Georgia Faction, there is a confrontation between Finance Minister Dimitri Kumsishvili and a former prosecutor Otar Partskhaladze.

"We are aware that there is a confrontation between Partskhaladze`s wing and Kumsishvili`s wing and this is confirmation of Partskhaladze`s informal governance and it"s very bad for the country, but the movement of Partskhaladze`s people to different posiyions will change nothing . First of all, Otar Partskhaladze is to be held responsible and the government should work in this direction, "- said Otar Kakhidze.

The UNM also link the transfer of the people of the former prosecutor with an attempt to find shelter for them.

"It seems that these people will feel more comfortable in the Prosecutor`s Office today and they are so to say, given shelter by these positions, but it does not change anything.
