NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said at a briefing after the flag of Montenegro was raised at the NATO"s headquarters ithat the open door policy is still ongoing. He said NATO"s door is open.

"This fact shows that the NATO door is open. It also shows that even those countries can join that undertake the reforms to medrnize the defense and security structures, protect the rule of law and strengthen democratic institutions. We will continue working with Georgia. We carry out an essential package, we have a training and evaluation center. Recently, members of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly have been in Tbilisi, so we have active political dialogue and practical cooperation that contributes to Georgia`s progress towards NATO integration, "- Jens Stoltenberg said.

Montenegro became the 29th member of NATO two days ago.
