A reception was held on the 25th anniversary of US-Georgia diplomatic relations in the Congress building, hosted by theGeorgia`s Group of Friends of the US House of Representatives.

Chairman of the Group of Friends of Georgia, Ted Poe and a co-chairperson Jerry Connie stressed the necessity of a solid strategic partnership, evaluated the democratic processes in Georgia and expressed their faith in the success of Georgia on the path of independence and western choice.

The ambassador of Georgia thanked the host and the United States government.

The event was attended by members of Congress, State Department, Department of Defense and other departments.
