At the last sitting of the spring session of the parliament, the MPs listened to the report of the State Audit for 2016.
According to the report, the government fulfilled only 47 percent of the Audit Office`s recommendations. The document was presented by the chief auditor Lasha Tordia.
According to the Chief Auditor, the Parliament should not be confronted with the Audit Service.
Tordia called on the politicians to maintain independence of the controlling agency.
