The National Bank warns the population about financial pyramids. Any person might become a victim of financial pyramids.

The NBG does not specify specific companies but the criteria that the consumer should understand is that they may be dealing with financial machinations.

"The National Bank`s goal is to provide financing services on one hand. Users have information on products that they use. On the other hand, the population has the skills to analyze the received information and make a responsible decision on the use of financial services, "- said Lasha Gzirishvili, Head of the National Bank of Consumer Rights Division.

It should be noted that the Georgian legislation does not prohibit the activities of the financial companies and the National Bank does not have a leverage to deal with the financial pyramid.
