One of the selected candidates, Sopho Japaridze responded to the critical evaluation of the NGO sector regarding the selection process of candidates for the Strasbourg Court.

Japaridze does not agree with the assessment that during the competition strong candidates were blocked in favor of the candidates of the government.

Sopho Japaridze calls the third sector statements "speculative" and says that the selection process was held fairly.

We remind you that the civil sector appeals to the Council of Europe. The civil sector explains that the selection process of candidates for the Strasbourg Court was unfair and many dignified candidates could not come to the final stage.
