Investigation has begun in connection with the fire in the Poti shopping center

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation on the causes of fire in the shopping center in Poti. According to the agency, the investigation is under way under Article 187 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.

According to the statement released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Fire and Rescue Divisions of the Emergency Situations Management Agency were at the scene four minutes after receiving a notification.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs additional fire and rescue teams have been mobilized from Zugdidi, Senaki, Khobi and Poti.
