According to the President of Georgia, the adoption of a constitutional project approved by two hearings should be suspended. Eka Mishveladze, the President"s spokesperson has stated that the project is "hastily adopted".
According to Eka Mishveladze, the draft constitution needs substantial changes.

According to the president"s spokesman Giorgi Margvelashvili"s offer to start real negotiations on the Constitutional issues to achieve a consensus was rejected by the ruling team.

"According to "Georgian Dream", they are ready to have dialogue with everyone except the legitimately elected president of the country. The whole process was conducted not for adopting a better constitution, but it was a campaign against Giorgi Margvelashvili personally. The solution is the only one, first of all, the Draft constitution , adopted hastily with two hearings by one party should be suspended .Basic and fundamental issues in the Constitution should be reconsidered,"- said Eka Mishveladze.
