Georgian parliamentarians take anti-state steps - Lolita Tsaria assesses visit of members of "Alliance of Patriots" to Moscow

Lolita Tsaria, an activist living in Russia, responds to the meetings of Georgian politicians with Russian Duma deputies.

She assesses the arrival of "Patriots` Alliance" in Moscow and talks with Russian lawmakers as betrayal of Georgia.

Lolita Tsaria says that Georgian MPs help Kremlin to legitimize their actions.

"The issue of occupied territories has been raised on the international arena due to the events in Ukraine. Vladimir Putin`s international isolation policy is going on with a new stream of sanctions against his regime. At this time, the representatives of the country, whose occupation is carried out go to Russia and show the international community that it is possible to negotiate with Moscow.

"The Georgian parliamentarians are taking anti-state steps and the majority in power is not contradicting this policy, and Russia will try to legitimize what has already been done and talk about any topic other than the de-occupation This meeting is treachery, " - Lolita Tsaria said.
