A Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan pays visit to Georgia. Rashid Meredov held a meeting with his Georgian counterpart. As Mikheil Janelidze stated at the press conference , the sides have discussed deepening of cooperation between the countries and the current events in the region.

"We discussed our bilateral cooperation and of course the current developments and opportunities in the region. Our countries are located in a special place, we have special opportunities to bring benefit not only our two countries, but the whole region, "- Mikleil Janelidze said.

Rashid Meredov has already met with the President of Georgia. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan will hold a meeting with the Prime Minister of Georgia as well.
