President of Ukraine is expected at the Palace of President . After the official welcome ceremony, Petro Poroshenko will hold the first official meeting with his Georgian counterpart. After a friendly interview with Giorgi Margvelashvili, meetings will continue in the extended format.

The main issues discussed at the meeting are e relations between the two countries, security of the region,situation in the occupied regions and aggressive actions of Russia. Strategy of Georgia and Ukraine in regard to relations with Russia will be discussed as well.

Meetings will be attended by members of the Ukrainian delegation, representatives of the president"s administration and members of the Georgian government.

"It is a very important visit, since the President of Ukraine has not paid an official visit to Georgia for years," - said Giorgi Abashishvili, the head of the Administration of the President of Georgia.
