Foreign Minister Mikhail Janelidze, calls the opposition`s accusations towards Irakli Kobakhidze, Speaker of Parliament of Georgia unfounded.

In particular, during the meeting with the diplomats Irakli Kobakhidze criticized the president. That`s why the opposition say that the chairperson of the parliament gave ambassadors a party assignment.

According to Mikheil Janelidze, the Chairman of the Parliament informed the ambassadors on the situation regarding the constitutional reform.

"This statement is totally unfounded and serves to politicize this process. I also want to address the rest of the people who have also responded to this groundless accusation and state that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is totally depoliticized and fulfills its obligations worldwide, " - said Janelidze.
